![]() ![]() ![]() Disgaea, too, although it's not running until later in spring. has put a lot more thought into it than I'm really capable of.Įdit: And to get back on topic, I'll be keeping an eye on Binchotan (as long as it can keep a nice surreal sense of humor and not pander to the pervs) Wings of Rean (because no one does giant robots quite like Tomino, and it'll help to know what's going on in a year or so when I'm playing a game with it in) Rescue Wings (if it's done well) and of course the Hellsing OAVs. It's almost always done self-consciously by the creators, although whether it's a shameless sop for fanbase (like M.o.E, a studio basically founded to capitalize on the trend, tends to create) or actually workable with the plot (like, say, Rozen Maiden) varies. Love gets a new transformation, turning into Cure Angel which I guess is kinda cool, but it's promptly forgotten about after the movie. It's extremely hard to define in any -one- particular way, but in general relates to the class of art and plot design, near-pandemic in most "romantic" visual culture nowadays, of (usually female) characters that the reader is intended to be attracted to, desire to protect, or be calmed by due to their innate cuteness and simplicity of character. ![]() This single chapter which had mostly single panel fights had them all turned into a few minutes of. They took one of the chapters which I tink had some great potential for being expended upon and BONES did exactly that. I like Tarte and Kaoru-chan, so the intro with them just goofing around and eating donuts was probably the best scene in the movie. My Hero Academia 21 Ok this was exactly what I wanted from this episode. There were a few things I liked about the movie though, like a reference to Setsuna's rarely mentioned fortune telling ability, and Setsuna actually using her teleportation ability during combat and teleporting a castle spire on top of the bad guy. It also do something which is hard to do in most anime. Have to say, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is a very easy show to watch and manage to grab me into the story without those flashy stuff you tend to see in most anime at that time and even now. Were both exhausted, but we had a blast Only our friends noticed the stealth weeb playlist we had on during dinner, which were jazz remixes of different anime themes. I didn't have a magic theater wand, so I'm surprised the Precure were still able to triumph, but thankfully the strength of my pure heart alone was enough. Just finish watching this show in two days back to back. Precures go to the Toy Kingdom to convince the toys to come back, but totally fail, until the children of Earth, using the power of their magic theater wands, channel the feelings of their hearts toward the toys. This was worse than the worst episodes of Fresh, and three times as long, not a good combo.Īll of Earth's toys get teleported away to the Toy Kingdom because the ToyMajin is totally cheesed off at kids throwing their toys away when they get bored with them. Theres 12 volumes and 3 inbetween volumes told from the girls perspective. From the intros with the wand waving and stuff, it's obvious the movies are aimed at the same demo that they're trying to sell the plastic merchandise to, but still, you can make a kid's movie without making a bad movie. The novels are still going, though I hear its about to end. The movie seemed like it was aimed at really little kids, like 5-7 y/o's. ![]()
